Nintendo 64

Rev. NUS-CPU-01 thru -04

The first four board revisions of the original N64 (Japanese launch June 1996). VR4300 CPU at 93.75 MHz, SGI Reality Coprocessor, 4 MB RDRAM, plus the PIF and RCP support chips on discrete packages. Revisions -01 through -04 are functionally identical - they are manufacturing/cost tweaks. Later boards (-05, -06, ...) progressively consolidated parts and changed the AV-encoder arrangement, which is why the early boards are often picked for RGB mods that depend on a clean digital video tap.
