Original "brick" Game Boy, launched April 1989. Sharp LR35902 SoC (a Z80/8080 hybrid) at ~4.19 MHz, 8 KB work RAM, 8 KB VRAM, 4-shade reflective 160x144 STN LCD. The DMG went through many internal board revisions over its eight-year production run; the CPU-04 main board paired with the LCD-06 panel is a mid-to-late production combo that you will commonly see in early-90s units. Later revs reduced part counts and altered the audio mixing slightly.
