Sega 32X add-on, late 1994. Plugs into the cartridge slot of a Mega Drive/Genesis (Model 1 or 2) and passes the cartridge through. Adds two Hitachi SH-2 RISC CPUs and an additional VDP for 32-bit-class 2D and limited 3D, plus its own RAM. Commercially a flop - roughly 40 games released before the Saturn made it redundant - but technically interesting as a sandwich that runs alongside the host MD 68000 and Z80.
